So now my question is, What OS should I run for the iMac (Mid 2007, 2.4Ghz, 6GB Ram, 1TB 7200rpm HDD, ATI Radeon 256mb GDDR3 Memory). I also picked up a used magic trackpad for it but only to realize after that it requires 10.6 to run the magic trackpad. I installed a 1tb disk in it and 6gb of ram to bring it up to modern standards. My friends were going to dump it as they are going to get a new imac 5K so i decided to take it home. I was going to attempt to install a new inverter and battery in it but instead, i was able to find a 24" mid 2007 imac with a failed hard drive.
